Office Engineer – New York, NY
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City. This role provides essential technical and administrative support to construction management teams, ensuring smooth project execution and compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong bkgd in engineering and construction documentation, with the ability to manage complex workflows, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track technical documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and project correspondence.
Process and review invoices using PDMS and maintain payment records with appropriate backup.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and support field teams.
Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Maintain organized project files and assist in closeout documentation.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in office engineering or construction inspection.
Proficiency in PDMS is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or NICET Level IV certification.
Familiarity with NYC agency standards and specifications (e.g., DDC, DOT, DEP).
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications
OSHA 10-hour Safety & Health
NYCDDC Water Main Inspection Training
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician, Grade I

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
