Overview

Warehouse - Night Warehouse Worker at The Chefs' Warehouse.

What you’ll do

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sort and break down product by SKU, quantity and product type.
• Operate electric pallet jack; stand-up forklift experience is required.
• Frequently ascend to 25 ft on cherry picker in a safety harness.
• Communicate effectively with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators.
• Adhere to proper safety practices for truck and trailer pull processes daily.
• Sort and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
• Handle company-issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment, responsibly.
• Report safety concerns promptly.
• Wear the company-issued uniform.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare for shipping; place orders on pallets or shelves and move orders to loading dock as needed.
• Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers as necessary.

About you

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
