In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Job Details
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with rotational Saturdays 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Work Location: Robbinsville, New Jersey
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or Flexible Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
