Job Description:
As a Data Analyst supporting a specialized project, you will play a critical role in architecting, ingesting, and transforming data from various SSPs into the Snowflake data warehouse. Your work will directly enable strategic decision-making across Client Sales, Product & Engineering, and the Data Analytics & Insights team. The successful candidate will understand complex data systems, ensure clean integration with existing datasets, and deliver actionable insights that enhance advertising operations and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect incoming SSP data to ensure compatibility with existing datasets
• Guide and implement best practices for data architecture
• Analyze user behavior and service usage data to support product, advertising, and business needs
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track performance metrics and monitor service growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics implementation for new features or advertising initiatives
• Conduct complex statistical analyses to support business strategies and operational decisions
• Participate in regular standups, brainstorming sessions, and presentations with internal teams and external partners
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
• Hands-on experience cleaning, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing medium to large-scale data
• Familiarity with R or Python for data analytics and visualization
• Prior experience in the ad tech industry is preferred
• Strong analytical thinking and a practical approach to using data, content, and tools for decision-making
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Effective collaborator with experience working across various departments and with external stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
