Shift: Flexible, 20 hours/week

Term: 3+months, potential for permanent for the right fit!

Pay: $21.64 - $24.73 DOE

What You Will Do:

• Performs routine accounting and data entry duties related to cash management, accounts payable claims, cash processing and payments received
• Performs accounts payable claims processing duties
• Assists with coding of invoices in accordance with criteria established
• Reconciles, researches, and resolves differences for vendor statements
• Prepares deposits and enters deposits and other types of payments to general ledger accounts
• Performs review for accuracy and completeness of cash receipts information
• Prepares accounting journal entries as needed
• Performs reconciliation of accounting transactions as needed
• Prepares requests for travel advances
• Reconciles travel advances and reimbursements
• Reviews and processes refunds
• Assists in inventory tracking and coding for facilities
• Assists with ordering of needed items for day-to-day operations
• Provides clerical and administrative support
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma
• One (1) year experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or similar field
• Associates degree in accounting, business, bookkeeping or similar field preferred
• Experience with office machines
• General knowledge of insurance billing including Medicaid and Medicare
• Must be able to move or lift documents and materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
