Compensation: Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.63 per hour. The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
Responsibilities: Provides and promotes the rapid and efficient operation of the Emergency Department as Unit Secretary to perform clerical duties in an efficient safe manner to expedite patient care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
- Previous experience with computer order entry
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
- Previous experience with answering heavy call volume
