Description:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Operations expert to support client computer network projects in areas such as Systems Engineering, Project Integration, Deployment and Operations, Operational Formation and Leadership, Risk and Strategy Management, Data Analysis, and Network Analysis and Exploitation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting network Concept of Operations for approval
  • Performing network risk analyses
  • Providing technical and analytic support
  • Attending strategic review programs
  • Facilitating management of technical areas
  • Participating in client testbed exercises and suggesting modifications
  • Developing technical requirements for strategic programs
  • Reviewing test plans and technical reports
  • Providing scientific guidance on technical approaches
  • Documenting technical assumptions and reviewing vendor proposals
  • Participating in review boards and communicating updates
  • Reviewing internal reports and participating in policy sessions
  • Conveying technical information simply to management and policy makers
  • Training client staff in processes and procedures
  • Identifying quality control procedures and familiarizing clients with research topics

Key focus areas include Reverse Engineering, Vulnerability Research, Wireless and Network Communications, Constraint Solving, and Exploitation techniques.

Candidates should be able to think offensively, developing and defeating advanced hardware, firmware, and software exploitation techniques. Projects involve teamwork and close client collaboration to enhance capabilities and resolve issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience or equivalent
  • Proficiency in assembly languages (x86, ARM, etc.)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby)
  • Software development experience in C/C++
  • Expertise in Vulnerability Research and Reverse Engineering
  • Proficiency with disassemblers/debuggers (IDA Pro, GDB, Windbg)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of PE/ELF formats, linkers, and compilers
  • Experience with Capture-the-Flag challenges
  • Experience with software protection/obfuscation techniques
  • Embedded development/reverse engineering experience
  • Understanding of cryptographic protocols
