Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial information to senior management
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
• Improve company-wide accounting policies and procedures
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
• Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies
• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Oversee and manage the accounting, finance, and financial reporting function with leadership that promotes trust, integrity, and productivity
• Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal/external stakeholders
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures throughout the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA preferred)
• 8-10 years of proven accounting experience with increasing responsibility
• 5 years of experience as a senior-level accounting controller
• Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and progress billings
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting
