Job Description
- Design and develop high-speed automated machinery from concept through production.
- Translate customer requirements and project specifications into mechanical designs.
- Lead and guide less experienced engineers on assigned projects.
- Prepare detailed part and assembly drawings to support fabrication and manufacturing.
- Develop innovative solutions to expand product capabilities and explore new lines of equipment.
- Partner with customers to clarify technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage projects within established timelines and ensure design milestones are met.
- Provide hands-on support to production teams during assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience designing servo-driven automated equipment (packaging, labeling, or material handling machinery experience highly desirable) or Robotics.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks; working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Proven ability to mentor, lead, and collaborate with other engineers.
- Expertise in developing complex designs, solving technical challenges, and delivering results.
- Skilled in creating 3D models, 2D drawings with proper tolerances, and assembly documentation including BOMs.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems, servo motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and sensors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
