Crown Equipment is hiring: Field Installation Mechanic - Dock and Door in Sharps

We are actively seeking dedicated and skilled service technicians with backgrounds in auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift maintenance to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Mechanic - Field Installation Dock and Door Equipment will be based out of Crown's Lexington, Kentucky Branch and will service the Paris and Lexington areas. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing dock and door equipment.
• Performing planned maintenance on customer dock and door systems.
• Executing welding tasks as necessary.
• Maintaining a service van and its inventory efficiently.
• Completing necessary paperwork upon job completion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school graduation preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience in welding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; must be able to safely operate lift trucks.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.
