Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment located in Beltsville. This role is crucial in ensuring that production goals are achieved with high quality, efficiency, and safety. The Production Supervisor will manage daily operations, guiding a team of operators and coordinating production schedules. The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually .
Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day production operations across multiple shifts or workstations.
• Assign duties to operators and support staff based on production schedules and staffing needs.
• Monitor job progress to ensure output meets quality and finishing specifications.
• Communicate effectively with scheduling, maintenance, and shipping departments.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; recommend corrective actions or development opportunities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; coordinate maintenance with technical support.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and environmental regulations.
• Record and report production data, waste, downtime, and quality issues.
• Implement process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and computer literacy (including production tracking systems).
• Effective communicator with excellent attention to detail.

Required Work Hours

This position requires flexibility, including Monday through Friday and weekend shifts as needed, to meet production demands especially during the upcoming peak season.
