Summary Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a solid weekend job?

Crossroads Kids Connection is seeking a Weekend Custodian to keep our childcare center and church facility clean and welcoming. This position works Saturdays only, for about 8–10 hours, with pay up to $20 per hour based on experience.

This is a great fit for someone looking for extra income in a positive, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop and wet mop all hallways, including raised edges near the baby room
• Sweep and mop all stairs
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum daycare classrooms on the main level
• Clean outside of lockers
• Sweep and mop kitchen
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum youth group classrooms on lower level
• Vacuum all rugs in hallways
• Clean all bathrooms (sanctuary, gym, main entrance, lower-level stairway):
• Sweep and mop floors
• Scrub toilets and sinks
• Empty trash
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces
• Clean mirrors, stalls, and walls
• Restock paper products and soap as needed
• Dust mop and wet mop sanctuary
• Empty all garbage in sanctuary, bathrooms, entryways, and hallways
• Clean supply storage areas

Monthly Responsibilities

• Spot clean all walls and lockers of scuffs and dust
• Clean all windows in hallways and entrance doors
• Deep clean sanctuary and stage (dust, vacuum, glass cleaning)

Requirements

• Reliable, able to work independently, and follow a checklist
• Physical ability to complete custodial tasks with or without accommodations
• Must pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Previous custodial/cleaning experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
