Forklift Operator Job at Bluegrass Stream in Louisville

Bluegrass Stream is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Verify, document, and report inventory movements.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• High school diploma
