KENT Worldwide is proud to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Consumer Brands division as a Production Forklift Operator! This position performs material movements and reports finished and semi-finished goods for the production group. This includes moving materials physically and in WMS system for locations inside the blending scaling area, blending staging area, blending room mezzanine, blending rooms, holding area, packaging room mezzanine, packaging rooms, production floor, and warehouse storage areas.
- The compensation range for this role is $18 to $20 an hour, in addition to KENT standard benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k). Final compensation is subject to variation based on the candidate's skills, job responsibilities, location and other pertinent factors.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review daily production needs with Production Lead or Supervisor
- Inspect powered equipment and battery fluid levels before use
- Report any equipment damage before operating
- Understand Raw Material and Finished Goods placards
- Use RF scanner to record material movements and locate packaging line work
- Gather and deliver materials to correct input locations
- Verify product numbers and quantities before sending to warehouse
- Operate shrink wrap machine for pallets returning to storage
- Deliver clean empty totes to blender operators as needed
- Weigh filled totes and record in WMS and on placards
- Load/unload totes and operate material carts to mezzanine
- Maintain accurate daily production records
- Follow GMPs and Allergen Storage Policy
- Operate forklifts at safe speeds and follow designated traffic paths
