The Production Supervisor supervises the operation of workers and equipment in the production and packaging area, while applying learned knowledge of processes involved and production methods.Job Duties:- Perform the daily tasks of certain Sanitation positions based on the Plant Regulatory reports issued on an as needed basis.Communicate important information to all employees such as announcements, safety information, production requirements for shift, etc. - Supervisory Responsibilities:- Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, hiring, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action, and compensation recommendations.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and guidelines.*This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.*- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.* Minimum three (3) years of experience in a dairy and/or food production plant preferred.* Supervisory experience preferred.Minimum three (3) years manufacturing experience required.Implement processes to organize and complete tasks, organize people and activities to support the process flow, ability to measure process success, insight to see opportunities for synergy and integration, and the aptitude to simplify complex processes.- Demonstrate ability to drive organizational change throughstrong interpersonal and communication skills and formalproblem-solving techniques.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to work with minimum supervision, adapt to a changing environment quickly, and think independently.- Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.Basic computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.Located in La Crosse, WI, Select Custom Solutions offers modern manufacturing capabilities and provides value-added products and services in contract manufacturing, branded dairy and non-dairy-based ingredients and ingredient blends, and ingredient distribution.
