Sensient Technologies Corporation is hiring: Forklift Operator I in Turlock

Sensient Technologies is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts. We are looking for a Forklift Operator I to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Turlock, California.

Responsibilities include receiving and inventorying goods, pulling products for orders, loading and unloading trucks, performing inventory related transactions, and operating a forklift. The ideal candidate will also improve the organizational plan of storing products throughout the warehouse to make internal movements more efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper warehousing of finished products, including securing pallet tags and using proper pallets.
• Read and understand product names, codes, and tags.
• Follow company rules and regulations, work safely, and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Perform tasks associated with the warehouse position, including onion and garlic receiving, order pulling, row consolidation, and cycle counts.
• Maintain the facility according to the 5S program.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete simple math computations and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and with airborne food particles and forklift fumes.
