Project Manager - Industrial Engineering
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and oversee facility expansion projects. This role involves managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for new facility and facility improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for new facility and facility improvement projects.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, including site preparation, structural work, MEP installations, and final inspections.
- Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate clear communication between contractors and internal teams.
- Provide proactive onsite supervision throughout the construction phase, ensuring contractor compliance with project plans, safety standards, quality requirements, and schedule milestones.
- Prepare and submit permit applications; coordinate with city planning and development departments to ensure compliance with local codes and ordinances.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, contractors, architects, engineers, and city officials.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and inspection reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes (IBC, NEC, IMC, IPC, IFC) and OSHA standards.
- Support Industrial Engineering activities such as layout design, analysis, and creating SOPs as needed.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years experience in facility projects in warehousing or manufacturing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Project Management.
- Experience in facility build outs, electrical upgrades, equipment installation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean methodologies, and process optimization.
- Proven track record of handling permitting processes and coordinating contractors.
- Familiarity with building codes and OSHA standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- PMP or PE certification is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, and industrial machinery.
- Skills in process improvement, facility layout, and design.
- Experience in cost reduction and project coordination.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site in Fontana with some travel required based on project location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a flexible start time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
