Overview We are looking for an innovative, collaborative and strategic professional to join as Marketing Communications Manager . The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing enterprise communications, social media channels, paid digital marketing, search engine optimization and creating communications for credit union members, the market area and media organizations in order to achieve organizational goals, increase awareness of the credit union and position GTE Financial for future growth. This individual must be proficient in creating on-brand, compliant, compelling content for a multitude of marketing channels including social media, digital, email, outdoor, print, video and broadcast. This role is also in charge of managing and maintaining communication and marketing assets, working directly with leadership, credit union business units as well as third-party vendors to ensure accuracy, timely delivery, relevance and effectiveness. What does GTE look for in a Marketing Communications Manager? Responsibilities Develop and execute messaging and strategic plans for enterprise communications across multiple business lines, products and services; apply regulatory and compliance mandatories within all deliverables. Directly manage member communications across the organization, collaborating with team members, leadership, department experts, media contacts and third parties to optimize content, delivery and experience. Directly oversee social media; manage multiple channels to meet key performance metrics; strategize content for various target markets and coordinate with team members on concept, edits and execution. Lead paid digital marketing execution, including creation and review of ad content and optimization for key metrics; lead search engine optimization initiatives including written copy for the company blog and corresponding video content. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis of performance metrics to stakeholders, including executive management. Become a subject matter expert on credit union products, services and promotions to effectively articulate and tailor communications to specific audiences, channels, and objectives. Plan and coordinate video shoots, including storyboarding, script writing, and on-site production direction when applicable. Support development and creation of marketing campaigns, promotions, events and workshops; ensure organizational readiness and ongoing optimization to meet enterprise goals. Craft and apply for financial grants when applicable, coordinating with executive leadership, accounting and third parties to ensure narratives are accurate and timely. Manage a large inventory of communication assets (collateral, flyers, letters/communications) with regular auditing to stay up-to-date, on-brand and compliant. Utilize project management best practices; own projects from scope definition through execution. Manage vendors and contracts related to communication and marketing activities. Understand key business metrics and organizational goals from strategic and tactical perspectives. Operational Demonstrate functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable federal laws including the U.S. Patriot Act, OFAC, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act. Experience Required Ability to research and compile information to recommend marketing and communication opportunities. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for communicating with executive management, management, staff and outside contacts. Excellent writing ability to develop effective content quickly and accurately. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising discretion and sound judgment in problem solving. Professional image when dealing with members, coworkers, management and outside contacts. Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities due to internal, market or regulatory factors. Proficient PC skills and ability to learn new software. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications. Location: Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters Department Hours: Monday–Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects. The position is defined as hybrid in nature (in-office or remote) and may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice, if possible. For Remote/Hybrid Work A quiet workplace to focus on delivering excellent service to members. Some positions may require performance standards to qualify for alternative work arrangements. Power and high-speed internet access (100 Mbps minimum). Video capability (recommended 1.5 Mbps upload/download). Candidates must meet all technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
