The Wisconsin licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Position is available in Oshkosh
Pay: Based on Experience
To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess these qualifications.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician in Wisconsin.
- Experience with electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
Duties & Requirements:
- Must have WI Journeyman or Master Electrician license for Commercial and Industrial divisions; remain up-to-date on all applicable codes, installation methods and specific project plans.
- 18 or older required.
- 4 plus years experiences in the electrical field (mostly Industrial and Commercial but some residential) and past experience in job leadership and/or electrical foreman is a plus.
- Demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision and someone that produces a high level quality of workmanship.
- Reliability- Must be on time and dependable
- Work well with others as a leader and a team member.
- Manage a safe and organized work environment, tools and vehicles.
- Consistently follow workplace safety procedures
- Work as a team member.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively are required.
- Installs, maintains, repair and troubleshoot electrical wiring, equipment and lighting systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision.
- Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems.
- Must provide the required hand tools.
- Honesty/Integrity-ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and take care of their needs while following company procedures.
- Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines and also work under pressure of deadlines and complete tasks under stressful situations.
- Reports daily performance of job to supervisor such as crew status, task performance and technical abilities.
- Monitors and keeps daily log on the project’s progress and changes in scope in comparison to the construction schedule established by his Project Manager. Reports to Project Manager any potential problems which may delay progress of Company’s work.
