Full-Time | $55,000 - $75,000 annually | Cincinnati, OH | In-Office

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Design Electrician to join our in-office drawing and design team. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who enjoys combining field expertise with design work. You will convert contract documents into accurate installation drawings that bring clarity and constructability to our crews. By bridging practical knowledge with technical design, you'll play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing errors, and supporting seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret contract electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Use Bluebeam to mark up, adjust, and finalize installation drawings.
  • Apply field-based insights to make drawings clear, accurate, and buildable.
  • Identify potential installation challenges early and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and field supervisors to ensure drawings remain current and accurate throughout each project.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of electrical experience (multifamily or commercial projects preferred).
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction methods and materials.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam (required).
  • Familiarity with CAD and Revit (a plus, not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience and skills).
