Akkodis is seeking Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for a client in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position requiring 100% ONSITE schedule. Must currently be local to Chicago, IL.
Pay/Salary Range: based on years of experience: $135,000-$150,000/yr
Job Description:
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will play a crucial role in the SDLC process for a critical application rebuild and launch. This role is a growth opportunity for the successful candidate to start as an SDET with a desire to grow into a software developer for the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field is strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software development is required. Java stack preferred
- 2+ years of experience in automated testing required using Selenium and Java
- Aptitude and commitment toward producing high quality code and software
- Technical experience in Java, Cucumber, Selenium, Kafka and microservice architecture is required
- Extreme Ownership attitude and practice with a get it done mindset and commitment
- Strong organizational, time management, and negotiation skills is required
- Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication is required
