Position Description

This role involves participating in an on-call rotation, with occasional after-hours and weekend work. The purpose is to maintain and troubleshoot systems software, providing technical and disaster recovery support.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve software problems, coordinate system updates, and evaluate customer requests and security patches.
  • Cross-train across systems programming areas to support on-call duties.
  • Provide disaster recovery support.
Work Environment

Fast-paced, multi-platform environment requiring 24/7 responsiveness to support business needs.

Qualifications

Citizenship & Clearance: U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an associate's degree plus 2 years of experience (total 8 years), or 10 years of relevant work experience.

Experience: Minimum 6 years in IT systems programming.

Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical and logical skills.
  • Deep understanding of systems programming, GUI, control languages, and development strategies.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with IMS, IMS Tools, and related products, including database administration and high availability systems.
