We are currently looking for a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a long-term weekend locum tenens assignment. This role involves comprehensive cardiac care in a supportive environment that includes advanced practice providers.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage from Sunday through Saturday, including both hospital and clinic call responsibilities.
- Work 24-hour shifts (6am-6am), focusing on inpatient care and call duties, with no clinic responsibilities.
- Collaborate with a team of three inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to deliver high-quality care.
- Utilize Cerner as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for documentation and patient management.
- Perform essential procedures including echocardiography, treadmill stress tests, and chemical stress tests.
- Interpret diagnostic studies with clarity and thoroughness.
- Board Certified in Cardiology (Required)
- Active Michigan license in good standing (Required)
- Must reside in Michigan or nearby (Required)
- Clean background for quick credentialing (Required)
- Availability based on the specified dates (Required)
- DEA - Verbal confirmation required at name clear (Required)
- Completion of employee health requirements, including vaccinations and tests.
