Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in manufacturing. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for steel fabrication and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material costs, labor, BOMs, and the full job quoting process.

Review drawings, specifications, and RFQs to prepare detailed cost estimates Analyze steel and material requirements, labor, and equipment needs Develop and maintain BOMs and routing data Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate pricing Create and manage quotes, tracking revisions and customer feedback Assist in improving estimating processes and cost tracking systems Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing estimating role Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and manufacturing processes Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints Experience with BOM creation and job routing Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software Strong analytical and math skills Detail-oriented with excellent time management Preferred:

Background in custom fabrication or job shop environments Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar software Pay:
