Director of Operations for CHOICES at Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, Columbus, OH. LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence has been the sole resource for victims seeking shelter in Franklin County for more than four decades, providing a Temporary Emergency Shelter, 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, DV Counseling, Legal Advocacy, Peer Support Groups and more. The Director of Operations, in conjunction with the Executive Director, oversees the administrative, fiscal, physical, and programmatic operations for LSS CHOICES. Develop, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of shelter and associated programming. Maintain all accreditations and ensure all programming is in full compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Supervise, develop, and coach staff to ensure high quality services within the guidelines of the agency mission and vision. Plan, develop, implement, and monitor practices that ensure high quality programming and services. Ensure CHOICES program services are operating in compliance with all grants, contracts, and funding source parameters. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations including infection control, and other criteria for monitoring surveys and site visits. Collaborate with the Director of Shelter Services to ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations and facility procedures. Act as co-lead for monitoring visits and audits. Be a dedicated and professional member of the LSS CHOICES leadership team. Establish and develop collaborative relationships with other LSSCO business lines and divisions, community agencies, systems, and institutions, including working closely with the Director of Operations of the LSS Health Center, CQI Director, and the Director of Operations - Faith Mission, to ensure optimal program operations. Engage in an enterprise-wide community of practice to share and leverage best practices and develop policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Director of Supportive Services to maintain CARF compliance for all designated programs in collaboration with CQI Director and quality assurance and program teams. Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field; master’s degree preferred. 3 to 5 years of progressive management experience in the social services industry with a focus on program administration and development. Valid Ohio driver’s license, access to reliable insured transportation, and ability to meet LSS insurance standards. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Superior managerial and diplomacy skills. Proven ability to cooperate and build positive working relationships with other departments. Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in shelter and business operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of housekeeping methods. Ability to work with diverse populations. Exemplary customer service skills. Benefits
