CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
KIRE Builders, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our growing Construction team.

Job Summary:
As a member of our Construction team, you’ll oversee and manage all aspects of one of our new ground up developments in San Diego County. You’ll report to our Construction Operations Manager, and receive support from other KIRE team members such as an Assistant Superintendent*, Skilled Labor, and the Project Management team (*depending on the scale of the project). You’ll be accountable for the supervision, coordination and direction of all subcontractors, suppliers, utility companies, consultants, and controlling agencies that are directly involved with your project.
Your Responsibilities:
Take ownership of all aspects of the project and direct all field operations. Schedule: Prepare and push the schedule. Maintain a sense of urgency. Direct meetings: pre-con, tailgate safety, weekly production, frame walks, etc.. Plans: Product knowledge: Know your plans and specifications and how they relate to the subcontract agreement. Review for completeness and constructability.. Maintain an active as-built set of drawings through Company Project Management Software. Issue RFI’s to the Design Team, and distribute responses and tasks through Company Project Management Software. Implement and manage the SWPPP BMP program. People: Onsite personnel management. Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on Schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. Review and approve all personnel time cards and expense reports through company project management software. Subcontract enforcement: Keep all Subcontractors adhering to safety policies, performing quality work, as well as on schedule and on budget. Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with all contacts: subcontractors, suppliers, building department and any other associated controlling agency officials. Walk all building department official inspections. Safety: Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately. Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the Company safety policy. Special assignments as needed.
Must Haves:
Field construction experience at supervisory level in multifamily construction Knowledge of OSHA laws Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control Ability to problem-solve Strong sense of urgency
Nice to Haves:
Experience with Procore Experience as a Superintendent on Multifamily apartments STS Certifications OSHA Certifications
