We are looking for a seasoned
Technical Lead
to work with our team and clients to develop enterprise-grade data platforms, services, pipelines, data models, visualizations, and more. The Tech Lead should be a technologist with excellent communication and customer service skills and a passion for data and problem solving. This role involves technical and thought leadership across data capabilities, from data vision and strategy to data science. Design and lead the implementation of greenfield data solution stacks in the cloud or on-premises, using the latest data services, products, technology, and industry best practices. Architect and lead migration of legacy data environments ensuring performance and reliability. Contribute to Data Architecture by assessing, understanding, and implementing data sources, models, schemas, and workflows. Contribute to Data Engineering by designing and implementing ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows. Contribute to BI and Data Visualization by designing reports, selecting BI tools, creating dashboards, and setting up data pipelines for dashboards and reports. Contribute to Data Science by designing and implementing machine learning and AI applications, MLOps pipelines, and supporting data scientists. Address technical inquiries regarding customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and feature/functionality of data products. Experience in crafting and implementing data lakehouse solutions in the cloud (preferably AWS, or Azure/GCP as alternatives). Possess broad understanding of data lifecycle and capabilities, and provide technical leadership in the data field. Support an Agile software development lifecycle. Qualifications
Requirements: US Citizen Only Ability to obtain and hold a security clearance with the US government. 5+ years industry experience leading data systems design and implementation. 5+ years direct experience with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, relational and NoSQL databases, data pipeline tools like Airflow, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), data streaming systems, data science tools, search tools, and programming languages like Python, Java, C++, Scala. Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Experience with DBOps and MLOps frameworks, DevOps exposure. Experience with message queuing, stream processing, scalable big data stores. Experience manipulating large, disconnected datasets, structured and unstructured data, and constructing complex queries. Experience with data modeling, architecture, aggregating results, and reporting from multiple datasets. Experience working in an Agile environment supporting teams building web interfaces, dashboards, reports, and ML models.
