The full salary range for this position is $95,700 - $159,500 annually, with a target range of $120,000 - $140,000. Salary decisions are based on internal equity, candidate experience and leadership, educational background, and sometimes location. Job Objective

We are open to candidates with less than 7 years of experience, who may be hired as "Measurement Systems Engineer". EDF Solutions Électriques seeks an engineer with initiative and problem-solving skills to design, commission, and manage meteorological measurement systems for wind and solar projects. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge of measurement or instrumentation systems, strong project management skills, and a passion for precise and reliable meteorological data to build a sustainable energy future. Responsibilities

Design, acquire, and commission measurement and instrumentation systems essential for collecting data to design, build, and operate wind and solar projects, including meteorological towers, solar measurement stations, or lidars. Select and manage contractors responsible for installation and maintenance of measurement stations across North America, including schedule management, contract negotiation, and safety compliance. Manage a fleet of assets including measurement systems, auxiliary power supplies, communication equipment, and perform remote troubleshooting. Prepare technical specifications for acquisition and construction of measurement systems on wind and solar projects, acting as a technical expert during design reviews and construction. Manage activities related to contractual power curve testing according to IEC 61400-12-1, including pre-construction planning, system design, commissioning, and verification of test reports. Maintain the meteorological measurement systems database, communicate system status to internal groups and partners. Develop strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants involved in measurement systems and meteorological data. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications

Education/Experience

Bachelor's in engineering and membership or eligibility for membership in a Canadian engineering regulatory body. Relevant scientific degree with applicable experience considered for a Senior Measurement Systems Analyst role. Minimum 7 years of experience in instrumentation, measurement systems projects, power curve testing, or renewable energy projects; experience level may influence job title. Experience with Campbell Scientific and/or NRG Systems data loggers is an asset. Knowledge of IEC 61400-12-1 and IEC 61400-50-3 standards is an asset. Experience managing contractors for meteorological tower projects or remote sites is an asset. Skills and Abilities

Highly motivated, autonomous, team-oriented. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, Visio, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint. Fluent in French and English for Canadian candidates. Physical Requirements

Ability to travel across North America for 5-7 days and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Work Conditions

85% office-based work involving computers and office equipment; 15% field visits to project sites, suppliers, and internal meetings. Seniority Level
