Capital Markets Associate (Energy)
Overview What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking a Capital Markets Associate (Energy) to analyze financial information and contribute to investment decision-making with experience and industry practices.
What you will do Researches and analyzes financial information to be used in making investment decisions. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.
What you need to succeed Collects and assembles financial data that affect investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and economic influences.
Analyzes financial information to produce forecasts of a specific company or industry.
Monitors fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments.
Recommends investment products and timelines to companies, investment firm staff, or the investing public; develops profitability models and investment reports for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA, or MS or equivalent emphasis in finance/accounting
Minimum 3 years IB in the Energy Space
Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling
Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting
Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct, demonstrates ability to represent RBC in community and industry activities
