Senior Network Test Automation Engineer

Develop and document test automation software for Zoox communication networks including Python command line tools for automating hardware configuration, test environment setup, and test execution. Work closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems engineers to develop and execute system-level, component, and hardware-in-the-loop tests. Take on the challenges in bringing advanced autonomous vehicle technologies to market and setup and run ethernet tests, develop scripts, libraries, and tools to run tests on networking firmware and hardware. Work collaboratively with design engineers and project managers to plan and execute test campaigns. 5% international travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Requires 5 years of experience in a Test Lead, Tech Lead, QA Engineer or related engineer position working on test automation framework design. Experience must include: testing TCP/IP using Python or C/C++; using network traffic generators made by IXIA, XENA or SPIRENT; experience in testing 4G-LTE, LTE-CUPS,5G, SIP/RTP; working on routing, switching and network security in Linux; using test automation frameworks and object-oriented programming in Python; and using Jira, Bamboo, CI/CD. Telework permitted within commuting distance to worksite.
