System Engineer - Verification and Validation

Establish strategies and methodologies to verify and validate the software stack with robust test coverage. Work cross-functionally to develop detailed simulation and structured test plans and procedures to validate autonomous features. Execute technical and logistical planning of vehicle tests including cross-functional coordination with other teams such as vehicle engineering, operations, software, and sensors. Design efficient test programs to achieve test coverage of requirements and scenarios, drawing on simulation and analysis where possible. Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. Design, develop, and operate test equipment and instrumentation systems. Troubleshoot and debug issues in the field and trace failures to correct subsystems. Perform test data analysis and report test results and define and develop automated data extraction tools to streamline analysis and reporting. Utilize Python, Vector CANoe, and Jama. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Automotive, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering and 5 years of experience in a Software Validation Engineer, Test and Validation Engineer, or a Verification and Validation Engineer position in the automotive, robotics, or aerospace industry, or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Automotive, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering and 2 years of experience in a Software Validation Engineer, Test and Validation Engineer, or a Verification and Validation Engineer position in the automotive, robotics, or aerospace industry. Experience must include executing the technical and logistical planning of tests, performing test data analysis and reporting test results, conducting software and performance testing for ADAS features and sensors for driving and safety features, developing test plans and procedures for system and integration testing, and developing and implementing methodologies to verify and validate software.
