Overview
Area Manager for OnTrac. You will report to the Operations Manager of the facility and manage all sort activities and volume within an assigned area. You will identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance business outcomes within the operation. Location: 2270 US-130, Dayton, NJ 08810 Responsibilities
Manage, staff, and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance and attendance. Conduct pre-sort meetings, communicate daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities; maintain open lines of communication with employees. Record departure and arrival times of designated line-hauls; accurately record trailer percentages and final percentages on outbound paperwork. Manage the flow of volume from Inbound to Outbound for on-time linehaul departures. Execute administrative duties, including safety training, operational audits, and end-of-shift reporting. Must-Haves / Qualifications
GED or Diploma required; college degree in a related discipline preferred Minimum 2 years of industry experience (e.g., logistics, shipping, 3PL) with at least 1 year of leadership experience Ability to evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills Effective communication skills, including providing honest, constructive feedback Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining, and conducting performance evaluations Benefits

Pay: $55,000 - $97,000 annually, depending on experience Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
