With responsibility for a team of individual contributors including Sr. Managers, Editors and Promotion Specialists that span across multiple therapy areas and brands, the leader defines and executes processes on PRC, conferences, internal meeting events and promotional material management with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Legal Compliance, Training, Regulatory, External agency partners or vendors, and Operations. Sr. Manager(s) Meetings & Event Planning Editors and Senior Editors Promotion Specialists
Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Managing internal and external resources to guide the production of US promotional materials (print and digital), from concept to distribution /go-live on the web. Responsible for the management of the printing, storage, archiving, inventory and shipping, budget management of all US promotional materials and online ordering tool. Responsible for the Promotion Review Committee (PRC) meetings, providing metrics, identifying internal process improvement opportunities, and managing staff resources. Responsible for managing contract and relationships with ad and digital agencies, warehousing, print and electronic PRC tool vendors, either directly or with partnership with Strategic Sourcing. Directing and supporting team on the planning to execution of key internal events and meetings including POAs, national commercial meetings, new hire or other training events and incentive trips. Directing and supporting team on the planning to execution of patient and health care provider conferences, meetings and key events with aligned goals and plans with Marketing. Establish role appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of operational effectiveness of PRC, Materials Management and meetings. Participate in and contribute to the 1-year Integrated Brand Planning across therapy areas including monthly cross-company meetings with other operational teams sharing out best practices and adopting new company wide solutions. Responsible for staying informed of industry and regulatory updates relevant for PRC, promotional materials and meetings/event promotions. Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required (business /management, healthcare discipline or life sciences preferred). MBA or other post graduate qualifications an asset. Professional with 10+ years’ experience required from relevant roles within the pharmaceutical industry including multidisciplinary commercial leadership and/or operational roles with experience within PRC, materials management and meeting or exhibit planning.
