Overview A leading national law firm is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Associate (6–10 years PQE) to join its growing and dynamic team in Washington, DC. This group advises high-profile clients including developers, institutional investors, and private equity on the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and sale of commercial real estate assets.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain significant deal responsibility in a collaborative, top-performing real estate team.

6–10 Years PQE | Transactions, Development, Leasing & Finance

About The Team Work closely with partners and clients across a diverse range of projects—from large-scale urban developments and joint ventures to commercial leasing and acquisitions. This team offers strong mentorship, excellent training, and a culture focused on high performance and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Lead and support commercial real estate transactions from inception to closing

Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, joint venture documents, loan agreements, and leases

Advise clients on all aspects of property development, financing structures, and dispositions

Work directly with developers, investors, managers, and lenders

Collaborate across practice groups including tax, environmental, and litigation as needed

Qualifications

6–10 years’ experience handling complex real estate transactions at a respected firm

Strong experience with acquisitions, financing, leasing, and joint ventures

Confident managing transactions with minimal supervision

Excellent academic background and strong analytical skills

Admitted and in good standing with the DC Bar

Compensation

Base Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
