Overview
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Assistant Director of Annual Giving position. The Assistant Director of Annual Giving is responsible for planning, developing, and managing a comprehensive Annual Giving program (gifts of less than $10,000) for the MCCC (Pa) Legacy Fund with goals of engaging, cultivating and soliciting alumni, friends, faculty and staff, and students. The Assistant Director will develop plans for the Annual Giving fundraising and work closely with the College, the MCCC (Pa) Legacy Fund Board of Directors, and Institutional Advancement Staff to identify, engage, solicit, and steward annual donor prospects for the College. The role will manage a targeted, multi-approach annual giving program, an annual giving faculty/staff campaign, and other targeted annual programs such as direct mail aimed at increasing new and renewing donors and increasing donors to the major gift level. The Assistant Director will recruit and engage students and student groups to create a culture of philanthropy throughout the College. The role will manage Annual Giving programs including Direct Mail Solicitations, Student Philanthropy, Day of Giving, National Philanthropy Day, annual Faculty and Staff campaigns, and other programs/projects as assigned. Manage programs such as Direct Mail Solicitations, Student Philanthropy, Day of Giving, National Philanthropy Day, and the Faculty/Staff campaign; handle other programs as assigned. Travel between campuses and off-site locations as required; primary location at the Blue Bell campus. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Three to five (3-5) years of fundraising experience with a demonstrated record of successful direct mail and personal solicitation fundraising, preferably in higher education. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong writing ability and excellent oral communications skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT or similar Donor Management systems. Proficiency with office productivity software, preferably MS Office 365 Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Ability to develop relationships with donors/prospects and work with volunteers. Ability to work in a goal-, metric-, and deadline-driven environment. Additional Information
Location will mainly be at the Blue Bell campus. A credit history check is required prior to the candidate's first day. This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. Equal Opportunity
