The Role

Kyndryl Consult is the fastest growing business within the organization and instrumental to the company’s strategic growth objectives. You will play a key leadership role across multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through complex consulting engagements and responsible for creating and positioning strategic change agendas within Kyndryl's largest accounts across the C-suite, spanning the intersection between complex business and IT customer solutions and transformations that impact the entire customer ecosystem.

As a Consult Partner, you will drive profitable growth, leverage our comprehensive capabilities to build strong client relationships, and lead your team to success. This role requires a strong presence, industry expertise, and the ability to cultivate relationships with CXO-level clients. Your leadership will foster talent development and innovation within the organization.

This role leads overall client engagement and delivers high-quality client work alongside senior client stakeholders. It involves working in a transaction environment which may be pre- or post-deal, planning post-deal implementation, and supporting execution. Partners focus on financial impact, utilization and contribution, client impact and leadership.

The Consult Enterprise Architect – Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning

Work with our consult partners and clients to develop and maintain a comprehensive architecture roadmap, identifying technology trends and assessing their potential impact on the business

Business Analysis

Collaborate with client business leaders to understand their requirements, translating them into technical solutions that align with and deliver their business goals

Architecture Design

Lead the design and implementation of technical architectures for new systems, considering scalability, security, performance, resiliency and integration needs

Solution Evaluation

Evaluate existing and proposed systems to ensure alignment with architecture principles and business objectives

Technology Governance

Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes to ensure consistency and quality across IT systems

Stakeholder Management

Communicate architecture plans, risks, issues and decisions effectively to senior leadership, technical teams and other stakeholders

Risk Assessment

Identify potential risks associated with technology architectures and propose mitigation strategies

Implementation Oversight

Provide guidance and leadership to technical project teams during system implementations to ensure alignment and compliance with the overall architecture

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5 years of experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Architectures 3+ years of experience as Enterprise Architect 10 years of experience developing, integrating and maintaining IT Architectures across end-to-end processes including business, applications, data and infrastructure components Knowledge and experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.) Knowledge and experience with Industry Capability Models and Business Capability Models to develop industry/business-driven technology solutions Proven experience designing, integrating and implementing complex IT systems across cloud, data, applications, network and infrastructure domains Extensive experience establishing and running architecture governance for an enterprise or major technology programs Knowledge of consulting methods in client engagements (Issue Based Consulting, SWOT, etc.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences Proven track record delivering large-scale technology projects with cross-functional architecture teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Relevant industry certifications (TOGAF, Open Group Certified Architect, Hyperscaler, etc.) Experience with Enterprise Architecture Tooling (Alfabet, LeanIX, etc.) Business Architecture Models and/or Business Capability Models for an industry Experience with one or more hyperscalers

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $151,560 to $272,760 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on geography, skills and experience. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted accordingly. The pay range will not be below any applicable minimum wage requirements.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations: California: $166,680 to $327,240; Colorado: $151,560 to $272,760; New York City: $181,800 to $327,240; Washington: $166,680 to $300,120; Washington DC: $166,680 to $300,120.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of applicable plans. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and PTO. If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the discretionary bonus program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
