Contract Responsibilities: Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on SAP Production Execution (PP-PI or PP-PB) implementation, support, and enhancement experience, preferably within large, global, process-manufacturing organizations (e.g., chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, CPG). At least 3 full Life-Cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or major re-implementation) with a focus on Production Execution and Manufacturing integration. Proven track record stabilizing and optimizing a high-volume SAP Manufacturing environment post-go-live, demonstrating rapid resolution of P1/P2 issues and root cause analysis. Technical Skills - SAP Modules & Functional Knowledge: SAP S/4HANA Production (PP-PI/PP-PB). SAP Enterprise Quality Management (QM/EQM). SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). Integration expertise using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration). Understanding of eWM integration needs across PE/product lifecycle. Development & Configuration: Strong configuration skills in Production Execution (Process Orders, Production Version determination, Rate routing, Posting confirmations, Backflushing). ABAP interfacing skills (user exits, BADIs, BAPIs) for custom integration development. Familiarity with IDoc/ALE for quality and logistics interfaces (e.g., MATMAS, BATCH_UPDATE, SHPMNT05). Database & Performance: Knowledge of SAP HANA data modeling, data aging, and SAP BW/4HANA or embedded analytics (CDS View, S4HANA analytics). Experience in performance tuning of high-volume transactional scenarios SQL trace, ST05 analysis, code optimization. Process Manufacturing Expertise: Deep understanding of batch management, formula management, hazardous goods, shelf life, and traceability requirements. Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, cGMP) and how to embed electronic batch records (EBR) and compliance checks in SAP. Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) is a plus.
