Overview
We are gpac, a 30+ year recruitment company, partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in MA metropolitan area. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join and grow their CNC-focused Engineering team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality metal parts and components. Responsibilities
Program and set up CNC machines using 3D CAD and/or SolidWorks panel bender programming software Utilize basic machine and CAD experience to ensure accurate and efficient production Fabricate sheet metal parts according to technical drawings and blueprints Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during production Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve quality Job Functions
Proficient in operating CNC machines and programming turret punches Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of CNC Swiss machines Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and adhere to quality standards Maintain documentation and records of production activities Skills
Knowledgeable on CNC Swiss Machinery Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D CAD and/or SolidWorks panel bender programming Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits
