Job Title: Junior Android Developer
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Atlanta. As a Junior Android Developer, you will work closely with our experienced developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience in the field of Android development.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for mobile applications - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code - Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize application performance - Stay up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in mobile development
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Proficient in Java and experience with Android SDK - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services - Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns - Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience developing and publishing at least one native Android application on Google Play Store - Familiarity with Kotlin programming language - Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs such as Firebase or Google Maps API
Salary: $1200 USD per month
Location: Atlanta (Preference for Pakistani or Filipino candidates)
