We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Policy Services team and drive our Azure cloud transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while championing DevOps best practices across our development teams. * This is a 50% overnight role with different night shifts that range between the working hours of: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM EST, Monday - Friday. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cloud Management Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized application deployments Architect and maintain multi-environment Azure subscriptions (Dev, Staging, Production) Implement and optimize Azure networking, security groups, and connectivity solutions Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization CI/CD & Automation Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services and GitHub Actions Automate deployment processes for .NET applications, APIs, and microservices Implement automated testing integration and quality gates Develop and maintain deployment automation scripts and tools Establish branching strategies and release management processes Security & Compliance Implement Azure security best practices and compliance frameworks Manage Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, and RBAC configurations Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management Ensure compliance with industry standards Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions Monitoring & Operations Design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics Set up alerting, dashboards, and automated incident response Perform root cause analysis and post-incident reviews Participate in on-call rotation for production support Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues Qualifications and Skills: 4+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure experience with a focus on Azure or AWS cloud technologies Expert-level experience with Azure services including:

Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration Azure DevOps Services (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts) Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and/or Bicep Azure Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Application Gateway Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor

Programming and scripting experience that includes:

PowerShell and Azure CLI automation Python, Bash, or Go scripting YAML and JSON configuration Basic understanding and use of .NET/C# and/or JAVA applications

Containerization and Orchestration that includes:

Docker containerization and best practices Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting Helm charts and package management

General Experience:

CI/CD pipeline design and implementation Version control with Git and branching strategies Windows and/or Linux server administration Network Security and firewall management Database administration (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus gRPC services deployment and operational management Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, HIPAA, etc.) Previous experience in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus

Experience architecting and designing new and current systems Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Advanced experience in production support, incident triaging and root cause analysis Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Annual Salary $100,000.00 - $215,000.00 The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
