We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial renovation projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of construction means, methods, and cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial renovation projects from concept through final bid. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and scope reviews. Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepancies. Maintain and update cost databases and historical pricing records. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and value engineering discussions. Assist in developing bid strategies and schedules to meet deadlines. Qualifications:
3+ years of estimating experience within the commercial renovations sector. Proficiency with estimating software and tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Procore, Microsoft Excel). Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes, and building systems. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
