CI/CD Pipeline Management
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Operate effectively in air-gapped networks, ensuring secure, reliable software delivery without external dependencies. Oversee release workflows, including version tagging, deployment approvals, and artifact promotion. Administer artifact repositories (e.g., Nexus, Harbor) to securely store and distribute build outputs. Utilize orchestration tools to streamline and automate application rollouts. Develop reusable infrastructure templates and blueprints to simplify and standardize system provisioning. Implement version control and rollback mechanisms for infrastructure definitions. Configure and manage load balancers to provide consistent routing, high availability, and failover across environments. Quality Assurance
Design and execute automated tests for software, devices, and system configurations to ensure reliability and compliance with standards. Collaborate with developers to define quality requirements, create detailed test plans, and improve coverage and documentation. Execute scripts for hardware functional testing to validate component performance. Conduct end-to-end, workflow, environment, and load testing to verify system functionality and reliability. Provide feedback on software design to improve testability and quality. Troubleshoot production issues by reproducing and analyzing customer-reported defects in test environments. Stay current with emerging software testing tools, practices, and trends. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles, ideally within air-gapped or high-security environments. Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD. Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration tools is highly advantageous. Experience with infrastructure automation and artifact management solutions (e.g., Nexus, Harbor). Background in both manual and automated testing for device and software validation. Deep expertise in YAML-based CI/CD pipeline development. Proficiency in infrastructure automation and orchestration. Comfortable working in Linux environments. Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and container registries. Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation tasks. Preferred Certifications: Kubernetes Certifications (CKA, CKS), GitLab Certifications (CI/CD Associate, Security Specialist), DevOps/Site Reliability Certifications from the Linux Foundation (e.g., Certified GitOps Associate), HashiCorp Certifications (Terraform Associate, Terraform Authoring & Operations Professional), Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Certifications., Cloud DevOps Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
