At Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. This Senior Strategy Analyst role supports the BDS Core Strategy team. The position can be located in Saint Louis, MO, or Arlington, VA. The selected candidate will work onsite as required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain analytical products on the health of the defense industrial base, competitor capabilities, and industry investments and what it means to BDS
Stay up to date on relevant investment, technology, threat, and customer trends
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and division teams to develop differentiated insights into the defense industrial base and its impacts on our plans and investments
Work across teams to generate key strategic analysis, possess an aptitude for critical thinking and present the insights from this analysis to senior leaders
Understand the bigger strategic picture, but also deep-dive into the key strategic and tactical issues of the businesses
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor's degree or higher
5 years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources
5 years of experience creating executive-level presentations using Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with cross-functional projects
Experience in a strategy, corporate development, or market analysis role or related experience
Experience presenting work products to executives, senior leadership, or external customers
Preferred Qualifications
Level 5: 7 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Experience in developing and analyzing complex business cases and cost models
Knowledge or experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or military customers
Experience with systems engineering, operations analysis, and/or threat analysis
Relocation Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel This position may require travel up to 25%.
Shift This position is for the 1st shift.
