Responsibilities
The Tactical Networks Program Office (PMW 160), within Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), provides cyber secure, accredited, and reliable integrated local and wide area networks (WANs) and foundation computing systems to support Navy, joint, and coalition forces across geographically dispersed locations. These networks enable critical command and control capabilities.
PMW 160 comprises four divisions: Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES), Future Capabilities, Platform Application Services (PAS), and Wide Area Networks (WAN).

Operations Analysts
with a
Secret
clearance to conduct research and analysis, for software solutions to support operational needs. Tasking includes analyzing software requirements and translating them into cost-effective software product selections using DoD Enterprise Software procurement vehicles. Responsibilities: Conduct design analysis of current software baselines and future software requirements. Develop design course of actions to meet future capabilities Conduct cost trade off analysis for courses of actions designs Coordinate with functional teams to meet operational software requirements Develop evaluation criteria and conduct analysis of alternatives Develop test criteria and conduct analysis of capabilities Analyze software requirements and translating them into cost-effective software product selections using DoD Enterprise Software procurement vehicles. Evaluate cost and do trade off analysis Present solutions to senior government engineers Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Physics or Mathematics + minimum of 7 years’ experience in software development, technical analysis and/or system design OR associate's degree + 10 years of experience OR HS diploma and 13 years of experience Experience developing detailed design documents Experience in enterprise software solutions Experience in product evaluation and cost analysis.
