Salary : $4,221 to $5,338 per month (SR 15, Step C to I)

Reviews application and supporting data from those engaged in the business of insurance for compliance with insurance licensing requirements of the State; supervises and performs the review of annual documents and other data to determine the continuing qualification of insurers for licenses; checks documents of companies merging or withdrawing from business for compliance with statutes; supervises and participates in the administration and scoring of insurance agent licensing examinations; supervises the issuance, amendment, extension or renewal and cancellation of all insurance licenses; and performs other duties as required.
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements
LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK : The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Basic Experience Requirement : One year of experience which demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English, and the ability to make basic mathematical computations, including percentages and averages. Graduation from high school, or equivalent, may be substituted for the experience.
General Experience : Three (3) years of progressively responsible office work experience which involved the performance of a variety of clerical work including the review and processing of material (e.g., forms, documents, etc.) for completion, accuracy and conformance to standards.
Specialized Experience : Two (2) years of experience requiring the knowledge and application of insurance licensing laws, regulations, procedures and requirements.

PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS (PSLF) PROGRAM
The PSLF Program is a federal program that is intended to encourage individuals to work in public service by forgiving the balance of their federal student loans. To qualify, the individual must have made 120 qualifying payments while employed by a qualifying employer.
