Full Time Medical Assistant needed to Float within a large multi-specialty Orthopedic Clinic in North OKC
Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities Room and interview patients and documenting history Take vitals Triage patient calls Charting in EHR (Epic) and processing any paperwork to check out to include Work Comp Form 5's, referrals, prescriptions Help guide patients throughout the clinic Casting, bracing, and removing sutures Some front desk coverage as needed and other duties as assigned Requirements
One year clinic experience preferred Experience in an orthopedic surgeons office a plus Experience with Epic electronic health records and phlebotomy experience are preferred Worker's Compensation experience is preferred as it is a large part of the patient population Experience with casting and bracing is preferred, or must be willing to train Must be a positive team player who is organized, self motivated, dependable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Must be dependable, flexible and able to adapt to multiple providers' clinical needs and expectations Must be able to work well within a team environment High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED) What We Offer
