Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking a Forklift Operator at our Insulspan plant in Blissfield, MI.
Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday- Friday, OT as required
Starting Pay: $17-$18 an hour, based on experience
Job Summary:
To provide for the safe and efficient movement of materials into and out of the plant
What you will do: Assist with moving panels throughout the department Unload, inspect, and store incoming materials Prepare all lumber for the warehouse and each job Load trailers for simple jobs Load trailers for complex jobs Meet all safety requirements and regulations Ensure safe equipment operation Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Ensure a clean work environment Develop a flexible approach to a team environment Follow company and ISO policies and procedures Qualifications/ Skills/ Knowledge:
2-3 years manufacturing experience High School Diploma or GED Grade 12 Education or previous job experience Able to read tape measures Math proficiency Forklift experience Teamwork Product knowledge BENEFITS AND PERKS
