Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant, Payments Transformation

About this role:
Wells Fargo is embarking on a multiyear transformation journey aimed at end-to-end modernization of Payment systems across wholesale and consumer banking. Reporting to the Director of Payments Transformation, this individual will partner closely with product, operations, and technology leadership. Must have deep expertise in transformation, payment products, operations, and technology to solve key strategic problems associated with the payment transformation efforts. Success in this role will enable faster delivery of the program's objectives, which include a stronger risk and controls environment, operational efficiencies, and increased customer satisfaction/self-service.
In this role, you will:
Own roadmap planning and execution across a key project under the Payments Transformation Program umbrella
Articulate project level priorities over the next 18+ months Lead sessions with cross-functional project team (ops, tech, product owners, testing, controls, architecture, business) to understand which key business priorities each can achieve while defining corresponding capabilities and dependencies
Build project-level roadmaps with key milestones and benefits clearly defined
Liaise with other project teams to understand key interdependencies, shared challenges and opportunities, constraints, etc.
Gain buy-in from cross-functional teams and present recommendations to Director-level leaders across ops, tech, product, and controls
Combine project-level roadmaps into program level roadmaps
Identify and escalate key decisions and trade-offs Build sustainable program frameworks including project plans, role & responsibilities, programs forums & councils, data management, reporting routines, stakeholder management plans, and communication plans
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of payments, wires or operations experience preferred
4+ years of financial services or management consulting experience
Previous project management, change management or process improvement experience
Previous experience leading technology projects highly desired
Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management
Demonstrated experience designing and leading cross-enterprise programs
Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations
Experience providing direction and oversight to cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
Experience creating dashboards and reporting formats in Tableau, Power BI or other tools
Job Expectations:

Ability to travel 10%

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
