Responsibilities
Know how to fill out resin traceability and be able to log onto computer and sendconsumption report.
Know all locations and transactions, which regrind should get scanned and why.
Must know how to fill out load / unload sheets and where to access them.
Be able to calculate pallet weight, gross weight, and net weight and know what each ofthem mean.
Properly fill out trailer receiving inspection forms and do so for all the trailers.
Must be able to properly get resin staged to be shipped.
Must be able to change silos and know when to do so.
Able to empty material system.
Review and understand WI-000377 Important ISO information and WI-00460 ImportantSQF Information.
Know how to access Cpro and be able to search for documents.
Must be able to fill out training checklist and be able to train resin material handlers.
Be able to open Fluffy and unclog it with little help from maintenance.
Must consecutively communicate with other shift leads and employees.
Have an understanding of THM materials and names. Know what materials are used forwhat products (eg. SC204 - Virgin white/trans).
Delegate crew members to work stations daily throughout shift.
Monitor grinding volume & assure goals are reached.
Control regrind dock logistic.
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED equivalent .Or previous experience.
Organizational and Communication Skills.
Must have good work and attendance record at Berry Plastics.
Good reading comprehension and basic math skills
Lead by Example.
Be a team player.
Able to work with limited supervision.
Be able to handle high pressure situations
Must possess valid driver's license
Fork Truck experience with certification
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level.
Ability to handle and pull full totes with fork truck.
Must be able to ascend and descend ladders
Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop during entire shift
