Our organization relies on the support of dedicated volunteers to help care for our specially abled kiddos and provide them with the care they need. We have several opportunities to choose from. Join our team today and start making a positive impact in the lives of disabled animals. What You'll Do: Animal Care Giver As an animal care volunteer, you will provide daily essential care to our residents. This includes but not limited to; assist in helping our disabled goats into their wheelchairs. Common tasks include cleaning animal shelters, raking, and maintaining outdoor areas. Additional responsibilities may involve replenishing animal bedding, cleaning and refilling water buckets, and cleaning up after your chores - dishes, sweeping etc. Expect plenty of exercise and interaction with animals while you fulfill your duties. The job can be physically demanding, but it is immensely fulfilling. It's also gratifying to know that you're helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for the animals. You will learn to care for each of our resident species, including chickens, ducks, ​turkeys, peafowl, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and ​bunnies! Volunteer hours are: Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri or Sunday: 9am - 12pm Saturday: 8:30am - 11:30am
